I am sorry to be so unintelligent, but I have posted the link to a computer I am considering buying for my granddaughter for Christmas. Could someone so kindly look at this link and tell me:

* Does it have the support it needs to download pictures from her camera and print?

* It doesnt run on battery only, does it?

* I know I will have to buy an external cd/dvd drive

* Can she download any program (having the external drive) that she wanted since the operating system is Windows Xp. I guess my real question is: Since it has a hard drive, can I load any software I want?

I know it sounds dumb, but I am out of the loop on the computer.

Personally I would buy a normal notebook PC for any child over about age 12. This one seems a little heavy pricewise for the tiny package, but is loaded with parent controls-which is good.
