photoimpact docking problems
Hi!
I have photoimpact x3 and just started using it to make cards, stationery and such back in August. I figured I should take some online class to learn more about PIx3.
I am in a wonderful class. We go at our own pace. In one tutorial they showed how to move (dock) the different panels. Well I cant get my panels back where they are suppose to be.
I try to put the easy palette and such back in its original spot but when I close all the panels by clicking on the little arrow....none of the panels move because they are not in the area they should be and I cant figure out how to lock them back in place.
Also when I moved them around I lost the ability to minimize each window.
Could you help me please?
Thanks And God Bless!

Wow that is a really old version because I got version 6 years ago and they are up to 12 or not even around now after Corel took over Ulead.
Now that makes me mad because I like photoimpact.

Can you post a screen shot so I can see version 3 and what your talking about because they have changed things over time and you may not even have thing I got so will do no good telling you anything till I see what you got.

Thats okay...I finally got mad and reinstalled it lol.
When I bought pi x3 i thought it was the newest one on the block lol. shows you how much I know lol.
I also found out that pi x3 does not have animation like the others do. but this is the newest version of photoimpact. It came out in 2007.
Thank you for answering so quickly.

It was not till Photoimpact 7 that Ulead GIF Animator 5 and that was the best Animator and now the last Animator because Corel did away with it.
Don't know what version of Animator you got but you can get the freeware version if Animator 2 here.
[Editor: Gif Animations or download link http://encoderx.co.uk/imageeditors/index.php

Here are some PhotoImpact sites.

http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/pho...es_Presets.htm
http://www.pircnet.com/index.html
Even if you find the last PI version the Animator was not part of it.

Your welcome and that was a free version that Ulead even had at there site for years but I think after GIF Animator 5 came out they took it away.
Your find out GIF Animator 5 is so much more easy to use. If you got it and really like it keep the program installer so when you get the money then your have it to put in the key.
Also go to http://www.ulead.com/download/download.htm and download Ulead GIF Animator, PhotoImpact and then get the updates http://www.ulead.com/tech/pi/pi.htm and the Documents http://www.ulead.com/pi/documents.htm and Components http://www.ulead.com/pi/esd1.htm to keep and burn to CD.
Components are there because on those version if you download the trial download you did not get all of the full box version. I think Album & GIF Animator (albumga_e.exe) is gif animator 5.
Now later if you get the money you can call them http://www.ulead.com/store/purchoptions.htm and make sure you can get the key.

You can look doing a search of google for things.
I do not know if your version has the stamps or if the stamps work the same way but if they do you can import PSP tubes into it also. So do a search on that and there are a ton of sites.

I got I got Photoimpact version 6, 7 8 and 10 Pro that is a resell from http://www.novadevelopment.com/ but it cost me more but on old PC with 98SE it was last version that worked on 98. Ulead had version 11 on.

Now do a search and maybe you can find version 8, 9 or 10 still. Not sure if version 11 has gif animator but I know version 10 did. It may of stopped after 12 and I know 13 does not have it.
But call and ask Ulead because it is $49.00 I think and say you want the last version of PI that has gif animator.
