adobe photoshop cs4 has stopped working
i started getting this message every time i close photoshop. any one know a fix for it

If you X out of that diag box does it reload OK?

How long since you did the install?

it still works normally. it just pops up when click out of it. its been more then 6 month that i installed it

hi. i had your same issue and i noticed it was caused by a dll from ati video drivers. i eventually got it fixed upgrading to latest video drivers from http://game.amd.com (catalyst 10.2)

i even noticed adobe released a photoshop update. maybe it could be worth a try.

At least you get an error message. Sometimes Adobe Media Encoder just randomly halts on me, while encoding H.264 files. Although CS4 AME is slightly better quality, I have to use CS3 more often because it doesn't crap up on me.

It does it on 3 different systems, too -- not a driver issue. Just an "Adobe bugs" issue.
