Moving one image on to another in Photoshop
Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could be kind enough to help me.

I have a logo with a white background that I need to place over another image. In doing so I need to remove the white background so that only the logo itself is placed over the second image. Unfortunately I'm a complete dunce with Photoshop and have no idea how to do this. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this at all?

Thanks in advance.

Open both images in Photoshop.
Set the Mode of each file to RGB .. (If something else)
Using the Move tool ... Drag one Image to the other .. It will show up as a new layer.

You may have to set the image size, or the canvas size, to accommodate the new Image.

And Welcome to the TSG forum.

Before or after you Merge the images ...
You will have to erase the white in the logo so that this area is transparent .. And the lower layer will show thru.
There's a couple of ways to do this ...
One is to use the magic wand to select the white .. Then delete it.
