Issues with CanoScan 8400F
When i scan images and documents using the above mentioned scanner, i sometimes (50% of the time) get a couple of 3 lined 1-inch lines, the three lines are blue-green-yellow. drivers are current, and i scan using the cano-scan software thru photoshop cs3. Does anyone know what this issue is and how to resolve it?

Sounds like a electronics bug to me. Try a different USB cable, a different USB port, a second PC or a different scanner.

Have you installed the latest windows 7 drivers from Here ??
Then I'd try scanning with Windows 7 Fax n Scan Wizard to see if it might be a problem isolated to Photoshop.

This problem sounds like it might be the hardware in the scanner ..
I've had a scanner with with a similar scan results (but they were consistent) .... I replaced it.
