I apologize if my post does not apply within this forum.

PRETTY SCARY. I found this out on my way to the bathroom at 1:30 a.m. I thought I was seeing things at first. White lightning flashes are coming out from back of DISH receiver at 5-10 second intervals.

I immediately called DISH and alerted them, so they're sending a replacement box in 2 days. In the meantime, I am without TV for 2 days but better safe than a fire.

I have never experienced this. I've been with DISH since March 2012, and was 7 years with a Comcast DVR, and nothing ever like this. It's pretty darn scary.

Have you ever experienced anything like it?

ALSO, with the TV off, I saw sparks on the screen, black and white dots. I have since disconnected everything from the wall.
