3D HDMI/ 120Hz Monitor vs TV Confused
If a monitor is capable of showing 3D the source must be 120Hz, HDMI only goes up to 60Hz, but there are cables marketed as 3D capable. Is this 3D only applicable to TVs? Are TVs somehow different that they don't require the 120Hz source? I've been thinking about this I and don't understand it at all.

All 1080P HDTV accept up to 60 Hz. When you see 120Hz being marketed by HDTV manufacturers, they actually take the 60 Hz content and "interpolates" and double the scan rate. The reason they do this is to improve picture quality for "fast moving" motions that you typically see in sports.

I think 120hz televisions actually look like slow motion.
