Sata Connector question
I have my Sata connector plugged into my hard drive (the black part). But where do I plug the white part of the connector into?

I have an Antec case, an Antec Smartpower 350 watt power supply, a Maxtor Diamondmax 10 100GB Serial ATA hard drive, and an Asus A8N-VM motherboard.

The white part goes into the power port on the drive----In other words, there is the thin Sata cable and the white power connector go into the drive.

The white part connects to a similar-looking plug hanging off the power supply.

You plug the white side into the female Molex connector, the black end goes to the drive of course.
That pic you provided is a Molex to SATA power adapter.
