dorm rec room?
Hi,

My college residence hall council is trying to put together a rec room for the people in the building to be able to enjoy, and the list of things we need/want looks like it's going to be rather pricey, which is bad because we're going to have to go through layers of red tape to get money allocated for our project.

Does anyone have any advice on where to start looking for high-quality low-cost rec room equipment? Here's the list of what we want/need:
  • New billiards equipment
  • Ping Pong table
  • New ping pong equipment
  • Large screen tv
  • projector
  • dvd player
  • Furniture couches, bean bag chairs, etc.
  • Board games
  • Paint

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Salvation Army, Value Village, Craigslist. Go used for the real expensive stuff. Hey, you could make your own Ping Pong table. Get a great big piece of wood and paint it green and put it over your big tv. I mean pool table, heh.
