Question identifying motherboards and processors
[/u]need to know how to identify processors and motherboards to establish compatibility have 2 older cpus trying to make 1 working model 4 childrens games

Hi and welcome. Depending on how old they are, and how NEW the children's games are, you may be spinning your wheels.

Easiest way is to look at the cpu and then look at the motherboard for any identifiying names and/or numbers.

You can download Everest Home Edition from majorgeeks--that will tell you what MOBO and processor you have.

If you can get them to boot you can normally get the ID string at the very first screen and identify the motherboard at least. The easiest way to identify the CPU is to take it out.
