Think I'd go AMD 64 or Core Duo for the CPU though.

I always hear that but I stick with intel. Right now I'm looking for a nice ethernet card for this PC, apparentaly my current ethernet card is 10 something and my new one has to be a 100 something to get the max preformance out of my internet connection...or at least thats what I was told.
