Question Help with connecting my PC to My TV...
So, what I'm trying to do is hook up my PC to my Samsung SlimFit TV (Model No. TX-S3082WH). My brother had told me that I needed a certain connection to hook them up, I can't remember what it is now, but I know I didn't have that specific connection on my TV. I was wondering if anyone could help me?!?!?!

Welcome!

The Samsung has HDMI, S-Video and RCA inputs according to Google.

But we have no idea what outputs your PC has yet...

Well, looking at Google it would seem that you have only VGA output. Therefore there is no connectivity available between the two devices.

Something with a video card with TV Out (S-Video)

But, this is a 30" TV, with quite a low resolution (compared to a computer monitor).

Will be OK for video, but horrible for text.

i bought a vga to s-video converter for mine, it was like $50 worked fine
it also has 1/8 pin to rca jacks for audio and video adjustments like fine tuning and screen movement in case it doesnt line up perfectly

overall it worked very well, i mainly used it to play pc games on my tv
