Ok...what about ccleaner? I'm having problems...again...lol I posted a thread about mouse problems, but now I'm realizing that my system restore is not working. Ugh.

I've had good luck using ccleaner to delete temp files and 'clutter' but I'd never use the registry function.
Some people swear by registry cleaners/fixer uppers but I had too much bad luck to reconsider them for my personal use.

Roe727,
Here's a link to an independent review of ccleaner at Tech Support Alert. It comes out well ...

Thank you guys...I will consider that and look at that review. I'm kinda scared of them myself and really do listen to what is on the forum. (from the experts...that is )

Unless you have a specific issue that requires you to "clean" the registry, my advice...

Don't fix stuff that ain't broke!

I totally agree. It was just doing strange things and actually I was reading a thread that was an old one in here and someone recommended it, so I thought I would ask.

Thanks for the advice.
