i have an old kenwood 104AR reciever and a set of dual 12'' 1100 watt subs. the problem is i have a sub out jack on my reciever and everyone knows how car speakers are. i dont want to buy an amp and i dont want to hook the subs up to the regular speaker jack, cause i want pure bass. how can i hook up my subs by just modifying the wires?

The manual shows connections for two front and two rear speakers. It may be possible to connect your subs but I need to know their impedance for each. And how many other speakers are connected, and their inpedances.
