Xbox 360 HD-DVD & Your PC .
Hey guys , I felt like messing around with something yesterday so i bought an xbox 360 HD-DVD drive to hook on my pc.
I did some research and found it to be "seemingly" easy and straight forward.....
I plugged the drive in threw the usb and Vista installed everything automatically.
The drive is all set and is recognised as a Toshiba dvd/hd x807616 usb devise.
So now i need hd dvd playback software and read up on Cyberlink Windvd.
I got my self a copy of Cyberlink.PowerDVD.Ultra.Deluxe.v7.3. and ran the "cyberlink advisor"
which lets you know if your pc is ready for hd dvd or bd . and it gave me these results.

So all is good

alright, i take the king kong that came with the drive and loaded it all up..
WOOOOHOOO! works .. I literally jumped for joy....
Now , ive see king kong so i go and rent transformers hd (wicked ! ) and load it up,
now it doesnt want to play the movie, windvd stops responding !!!!!!
It sees the dvd properly and the name of the movie in windvd and also in mycomputer.
I dont have an hd dvd player to test the disk out on to see if its the disk but i have a feeling its not just the disk .

Anyways i have 30 days to figure this out before i return it to the store.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks in advance

Dan.

Here are my system specs.
