Question Newly istalled car cd player will not play,unless....
I recently installed a cd player in my car. Not too bad of a job. Looks good, matched it wire to wire with the harness kit. One problem. It will only play if I turn my lights on!! I did not discover this out until the daytime when it did not come on. I installed it at night and my headlight are automatic so I thought it was all good. I am bamboozled !! Someone please help. Let me know which wires to check or something, I am almost clueless....Thanks

It Seems Your Hot Wire For Player Is Hooked To He Wrong Wire. It Appears To Be Hooked To The Wire For The Dash Lights Would Be My Guess. You Need To Find A Wire That Is Hot And Stays Hot When You Turn On The Key.
