Can anyone help me in finding out how I can disassemble and reassemble my HP zd7010us laptop computer?

Having had to repair an HP laptop of my own, I know that you can find a manual on the HP website, but it takes some digging. What's the reason you need to take it apart before putting it back together?

I think my dc-jack may be broken, my laptop does not hold a charge.

You can buy the replacement jack here. http://www.laptopjacks.com/

They're not cheap, but they normally have the exact replacement part.
