My Hitachi Ultravision screen went black then showed the picture and now it's in double vision. Any ideas?

"Double Vision" could mean a second image as a "ghost", trailing the main image, a second discrete image above or beside the main image.

But as it "went black" before this happened, it certainly sounds like an electronic failure and time for the TV techs. Hope it's under warranty!
