Is del dr d and reallocating as part of dr c uisng windows xp possible?
Here's my situ. Got an older sony vaio that has a 15g c drive and a 92g d drive and am running windows xp. Is it possible to del drive d and reallocate the space to drive c? When I go to disc mgmg and right click on drive d the "delete logical drive" is not highlighted. But I see where I can delete a drive under options. But I see no commands under any window for deleting partitions or reallocating the space I would have after deleting the drive. Would the space automatically be allocated to c? Or is it just not poss using xp? I really do not want to purchase software for this if I can avoid it.

What you need is a partition manager. Here's a free one: http://www.partition-tool.com/
