What type of TV is this? Tube-based projection, DLP, LCD, plasma?

Well, at 53" I'd be surprised if it were a tube set!
I'm thinking more along the lines of a projection TV, since convergence is a big problem with many of those.
What's the exact model of this TV?

That's why I said, "tube-based projection".
Would be the most likely guess, I'm thinking - one color going out of whack could easily be that one gun, since they're generally separate units.

You're right, I missed "projection", don't know how that happened.

Heh, I know better - I have a 36" WEGA CRT and the thing is heavy as $*@^, took my son and I both to even pick it up. Considering the weight jump from a 27" (can pick up and move myself) and a 36" (two of us could barely move it), I'd hate to think what a 53" tube would weigh!
