Need help trying to install a power antenna on my car
I have a 1996 Ford Thunderbird LX. I am trying to install a Power Antenna and i am having difficulty. Please Help im starting to get very frustrated. This is the second antenna that i purchased, I broke the first one and had to buy another on, since they are expensive i dont want to break another one.

Perhaps if you told us specifically what difficulty you're having, be it mechanical or electrical, we could be of more help.

I've put a couple of replacement power antennas in, and I've never had any particular issue, other than having to disassemble half of my Jag's trunk to get it in there.

I put one in a 95 Neon, relocated it to the rear left quarter panel, talk about nervous, drilling a 3/4 inch hole in a brand new car, Yikes.

Looked much better than the front right location. Removed the factory antenna, went to the dealer and bought the plug for the factory hole in the front, paint matched it to the car, worked out great.

Hardest part was finding the adapter to allow the antenna cable extension I used to fit the radio antenna socket.
