Solved: TV Repair
I have a 46" GE rear projection tv that started making crackling noises from the back I opened it up and can see that the power cord needs to be re-soldered to the board. Which means unplugging everything and getting the board upside down. With the transformers and capacitors in there I'm a little nervous. How long do I need to leave this thing unplugged to make sure it is completely drained of power?

Thanks, I got it soldered back together and cleaned ten years worth of dust off of the lenses. Now I don't have to spend a thousand dollars for a new tv and it is a lot brighter and clearer now.
