50" toshiba projection tv wont power on
my tv will not turn on. when i push the power button it just makes a click which i think may be the transformer and the standby light stays solid for estimated 10 seconds then flashes. i dont get no video or sound. when i push the power button again to shut it off it makes the same click but not as loud.

Not familiar with your tv at all,a good place to start would be the on/off switch itself I would have thought, its been years since I dabbled with tv repairs and not up to date these days Im afraid ...on/off switches then gave lots of problems ....are you able to get the pcb out and flex it gently in a darkened room to check for any sparking , other than that you need a meter to check the path of the power supply till you see none is the best I can come up with now .....
