HELP trying to make INTERNET CABLE????
hi people i have been trying this weeks to make a internet cable for my wii
ok my cable is a utp category 5 patch cable
cables in are:

1 orange
2 orange with white stripes
3 blue
4 blue with white stripes

on the usb
1 red
2 white
3 green
4 black



ok what i want to create is a internet cable crossover with usb
rj45 in one side and in the other usb port

but i have a problem what color of cables on the usb i have to match with the others??

USB and Twisted Pair Eithernet use two totally different signaling methods. A simple cable with different plugs will not work. You need active electronics to translate between the two.

Something like this adapter may work for you:

Gee, I didn't notice the USB to Ethernet!

Obviously, cwwozniak is correct, it's not that simple. You need a USB connected Ethernet adapter.
