Boot Error - Can't access SETUP

Intel 440BX AGPSet BIOS for BX2000 V.1.8
System Helth Ok
VCore=2.00V
Pentium III-MMX CPV at 560mkz

When trying to boot the PC is gets to checking memory and then freezes

When trying to enter SETUP by pressing DEL following message is shown and the PC freezes:

<MAIN BIOS IS WIDE RANGE PROTECTION ERROR!>
<Press F1 to enter dual BIOS utility>

if I press F1 noting happens either

I have also tried to enter SAFE MODE without success. I have just rebooted the PC again and now the screen remains blank ... Please help!

Ok - I managed to get into setup and I changed the BOOt sequence - now I go as far as Verifying DMI something and it hangs at Error loading operating system ...
