Exclamation this pops up everyx i restart my computer, but i cannot locate it..
I am very sorry if this is in the wrong section, but i do not know where else it would go!! A year ago our cable co. had us install this thing called speedplexer, After we did so, our comp. ran so, so, slow! so we uninstalled it, (so we thought).. Now, for the last year every time we restart our computer a gray box pops up w/ the symbol that i chose as my smilie and in it says, "The drive or network connection 'SpeedPlexer (2), Ink refers to is unavailable. Make sure the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again." The only spot i can ever see just the icon itself is when i go to start>programs>then a folder that says start up. but when i click on it another gray box pops up that says C:\program files\SpeedPlexer is not accessible. This folder was moved or removed., i then click ok and then the gray box pops up and automatically it start searching for it and never finds it. does anybody know how i can get rid of this thing? I dont believe i can just 'delete' it.. I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me, again i apologize if i posted this in the wrong forum.. Oh and also i have windows 2000. Thank you..

Go here and download MSCONFIG.

Run that and look on the Startup tab to see if you can see anything that relates to that program and disable.
