Question Palm IIIx no longer hot syncs
Hey! I've had my Palm IIIx for almost 3 years now. I would hot sync it to 2 computers, one at home and one at work. There was no problem until just recently. I tried to hot sync at home and there was no response. The Palm IIIx simply continued to try to connect to the computer until it gave up. I've tried reinstalling the software and changing ports, but to no avail.

My Palm IIIx still hot syncs with my computer at work, so I'm wondering if it's a problem with my home computer. At home I have a PII 350Mhz with Windoze 98SE. At work, PIII 500Mhz, Windoze NT. Any suggestions?

Check your cradle for damage in the connections.

Thanks for the reply. As a matter of fact, I reconnected my HotSync cradle to my computer after about a week or so of being disconnected. To my surprise, it works! Maybe the connection was bad before, or at least so loose it affected the HotSync. Well, problem solved, I guess!
