Error message when starting IE
I am running Internet Explorer 6 on a MAC machine. I downloaded IE 6 last week and I had no problems until today. When I opened, I got the message, "Internet Explorer has unexpectedky shutdown...because on a type 3 error."

I can not browse.

Don't know whether this will help you any, I'm not a mac user. For a more general search on "type 3" errors, eliminate "internet explorer" from the search field:
