mac os 10.1.5
Just installed os 10.1.5 after discovering I could use os x on my new iMac (I've been using os 9 because my email didn't work in os x). Now cannot open any files created in os 9 - word processing, spreadsheet, nada. Not even if I try to open the backup copies on the zip drive. Includes copies dragged onto desktop.

with the Mac OS X came a cd to make it so you could open things that were created with OS 9.

I am looking at my OS X box now and there are 3 cds
the 9 cd
the X cd
and a developer's cd

Do you have these?

Reading mac os 9 stuff in os x
I have an OS 9 install CD and an OS X install CD, an applications CD, a Hardware Test Cd and 6 software restore CDs. No developers.
