Unable to use PowerBook.
I have a Mac PowerBook 170, but no operating system. What can I use so that I can use it. If anyone knows anythong about PowerBooks, please let me know where to go for software. Thank you.

The Powerbook 170...ahhhh....memories...(I hope you aren't using it with a DuoDock...that would be scary).

Apple now gives away MacOS 7.5.5 (last time I checked it was a free download off their web site). I would run anything above 7.6.1 on a 170 anyways...and...7.5.5 should be just fine for that age machine. Plus, you can't beat free.

Try searching Apple's web site and/or the 'net for MacOS 7.5.5. Again, it is now being given away by Apple so it's legit.
