Unhappy Can't Get Into Drive C: in DOS
Hi guys. I have DOS 6.0 on a floppy and I'm trying to remove a file in my Windows/System32 folder because it is hindering me from getting back into my system. It is a boot screen file and when it shows up, immediately after which I get a stop error blue screen. The problem is, after I get the A:\ command prompt, I type 'c:\' but it tells me it's an invalid drive. Please help!

Howdy maximorpheus...

What OS are you using ?

If it is NT, W2K, or XP and it is formatted NTFS Dos 6.0 ( or any dos boot disk for that matter ) will not see the drive...

Booting to a DOS 6 disk and trying to access an NTFS volume will not work.
