I am not very familar with DOS, and im wondering how the un-delete fuction in DOS works? and how does one use it?

First you need to be sure you haven't over written the files. Then you need to change to the directory where the files you deleted were. Typing undelete will give you a listing of files and the computer asks for each file if you want to recover it. To recover a file press the Y key and you will also need to give the first letter of the filename you want to recover. DOS usually replaces it when the file is deleted. I think a question mark shows up instead of the first letter.
