I have a customer running an older accounting program on an XPPro box. The program has printed without problems or intervention for over 1 year. Now it has started to have problems printing, by going into control panel, my computer, properties, device manager & port settings, change the settings, exit, then go back into device settings & change back to print to LPT1 it will print for a couple of hours, then it will stop. I can find no reference to this problem anywhere & am hopeing someone else has had this problem & came up with a solution.
