Solved: Using Virtual PC on mac OS 9.2
Can anyone help,

I'm going to use VPC on my imac OS 9.2

Can anyone tell my what extension are essential for the mac to run VPC so that I can turn off all the extensions I don't need.
Secondly can anyone help me with the memory settings,
my imac has 128MB Memory Power PC G3

Any help is much appreciated

Thanx

128MB is going to be a very anemic amount of system RAMfor running VPC. It would likely only be adequate if you're going to run Windows 95 (or older) in the VPC environment.

That I'm aware of, Virtual PC doesn't have any specific extension requirements beyond the MacOS 9 Base set + any VPC specific extensions that get installed (if any, it's been a long time).

With your system config. I wouldn't suggest assigning more than 32-48MB of memory to your "Guest" operating systems in VPC.

hey heres an idea.... why dont u stop pretending to use pc's and just actually get a pc instead of wasting your time with a mac.

if u check the current stats sites, such as thecounter.com (this site is recommended in the book 'Web design in a nutshell' by Jennifer Niederst) u will notice that Mac usage of the internet is only a wopping 2% and pc usage on the other hand is ~97%.
