Infared port > palm pilot
Im not sure if this is the right forum but here goes. I want to know if I can use the ibm 240 thinkpad infared port to comunicate with a palm pilot IIIc or a tungsten T. I would like to utilize the laptop infared but never had any reason to. Do I still have no reason to? I imagine I need some programs here.

What do you want to do with it? If you just need to hotsync - do that by using a cable. Also, if you do want to use the IR port on the laptop, make sure it's enabled in the BIOS. I know a lot of times they are disabled since they are rarely used.
