Need to know about Toshiba Satelltte Pro Laptop
I would like to know the basic /functions operations of a Toshiba Satellite laptop..such as..how to tell how much memory is on it, and how can you tell if you have any of these programs. microsoft word, excel, powerpoint on my computer?

Start - All Programs
The list should include all installed applications.

Start - Control Panel - General.
The display should tell you the version of Windows and the installed RAM.

Also download and run Belarc Advisor (search for a free download using www.google.com) for a detailed listing, but the above is much simpler.

You can also go to the toshiba site (www.toshiba.com), as long as you know what model number you have which should be listed on the bottom of the laptop. Just go to support, give your model # and find the system specs (there is also a search option with 'ask Iris').
