Question Cmos problem
I have just purchased a Compaq Armada 1500c laptop, it has a few problems so I want to reformat and start clean. I can’t seem to get in to the Cmos set-up I’ve tried F1, F2, F10 and delete.
Does any one have any ideas how to get into the Cmos?

Check on Google, but I don't think Compaq have a BIOS as such. Its a small hidden partition on the HDD that has the setup info.

You need to be very careful about reformatting, that this area is not deleted.

Try F10 or F12 when it boots, at the time the cursor is momentarily flashing in the upper corner of a blank screen?

It has no cursor momentarily flashing in the upper corner of a blank screen. It goes strait from the COMPAQ logo right to starting windows.

F10,F12,F2,F1 Fn Esc and delete doesn't work.
