Cant fdisk :(
Im trying to install win 98 se on an old compaq (i know ahah its messing with it) but when i type fdisk as A: or D: it says this http://prophet.beakshy.com/PDRM3347.JPG i cant make it do "C:" it says invalid drive specification.

any suggestions if you want to try to walk me though it aim me prophet8511

You don't FDISK a drive such as C:...just type FDISK and hit enter. This will open a window with several choices. Select #4 to see how your drive(s) is/are partitioned now. From there, you can follow the menu choices to create a DOS partition and make it active. Reboot and format, and you're ready to install Windows.
