Scan Disk
I would like to know how to us the scan disk in dos. I am using Windows XP Pro.

If you have FAT file system then you can boot off a window 98 or Dos bootable disk and run "scandisk.exe".

Otherwise run chkdsk from the recovery console or chkdsk from within windows.
