Anybody know how to sync. one palm to 2 different pc's??
I want to sync. with my work PC and I want to sync. with my home PC. Sounds simple enough but I can't seem to do it after setting the user name the same on both hotsync. set-ups.

I am just about ready to switch to hotsyncing w. Yahoo in order to do this but don't really want to have to deal with the web and yahoo as my PIM.

I am currently using Time and Chaos and would like to stick with it.......syncs fine with one machine but can't get it to up date my data on the second.

Thanks!

You didn't say what kind of Palm you have, but I have a M130 which I share between my Desktop (Major sync system) and my ThinkPad laptop when I'm on the road. I have a USB charging cable on the laptop vs a cradle on my desktop. I use Palms DESKTOP software (4.1) and I'm able to sync on both systems with no problem. The only complaint I get is on the Laptop which is not the primary system. It always tells me that I need to sync with the main system, but continues anyways. Its got to be your software - Millions of people do this everyday with no major issues. As far as the Palm software - It was free and keeps track of my appointments, Phone lists, and small amount of important database information. I would recommend you switch to the Palm software as it works like a charm. Also it does support non Palm software. I have both "Quick Office Desktop" and "Splash Photo" which are sync'd everytime I do a Palm Hotsync.

Hope this helps - Storage_man
