Red face Walk me through this...
I am looking for someone to help me chip away at the possible reasons that my MobilePro and Ipaq aren't getting recognized. Forget the Ipaq for now. I want my MobilePro to sync first. I have a feeling that my computer has a wrong setting somewhere. I was hoping someone would help me go through the BIOS setting to doublecheck for accuracy and explain a couple of things along the way. I don't want to go out and buy an IRDA just yet and my local computer store is out of them. I need to get synced before leaving town tomorrow morning for the Patriot's game! I have a MP 780 and a mutt computer. Windows 2000. This is a last ditch effort. After this, I am getting rid of all and getting a used laptop. Oh, and if anyone can actually get my IPAQ, MP780 AND computer to talk to each other....it might renew my faith in miracles. Please don't ask me things like, "is your cable connected?", "is your computer turned on?" I ruled out all brain farts.
