Angry Can't get Win 3.1 to recognize CD ROM?
Hello everyone. I came here to ask another question, but I answered it myself. While I am here, I will ask another. I have a Old Pentium That had Windows 3.1 on it originally. It was upgraded to Windows 95. I formatted the HD, and now I can't get the computer to recognize my cd rom drive. I was able to get 3.1 back on it. (Even though I’m shooting for 98) Do you know the way to have the computer recognize it, to where I can load Win 98? I also just booted it up, b/c I have not done so in a while. When I did, I recieved this error: C: drive error....Press F1 to RESUME. Pressing F1 is not doing anything. Thanks, Barret

Exclamation Fixed
Thank you everyone, but I have fixed the problem. I do have one other problem. While trying to load Win 98, I have found that I might have a "boot sector virus". Any suggestions? Thanks

I'll mark this one resolved. You go to the Windows 95/98 forum and post your new question.

Have you tried the search feature? You may find your answer there. I'm not trying to talk you out of posting a question, tho...!
