Cellphones & Network settings.
Hi again.

I have TMobile and a Motorola C650 (ew, I know). Any suggestions on network settings for optimum reception? TMobile is pretty bad with reception, but I gotta make due with what I've got.

--and another thing: did i put this in the right subforum? :/

TSG isn't really a cell phone support forum. You may get some responses, but you may not. You'd have better luck with a cell phone forum for either T-Mobile or Motorola.

Reception depends on a number of factors. Where you are is most important, as in how far away from a base station you are. If you are in the middle of nowhere and the nearest cell is 15 miles away or so, you won't get good signal. Also your phones aerial might be unable to pick up the signal very well. Topography plays a part as well. Line of site is always a bonus, thats why we put em on buildings.

Very curious. Thanks, I wasn't looking for a significant amount of info anyway. It was just offhand curiosity.
