Where can I find basic information about DOS. I want to set up a computer to boot to DOS only. The HDD currently has WIN 98 on it, and I dont know if this can be partitioned with DOS as the default, or if I have to format and install DOS in its place. I only have 96 mb of memory I am guessing that is enough for DOS. Any info appreciated!!!

Actually, W98 includes a version of MS-DOS. If you edit the MSDOS.SYS file in the root of C: and set the GUI parameter to 0, it'll boot to plain DOS.

One megabyte of memory is enough for MS-DOS, 96mb is more than enough!

One question, what exactly do you want to do with DOS?
