Exclamation quickbasic 4.5
My goal was to move the software from a Win98 machine to an XP Machine. I attached the 98 hard drive to my laptop and copied several folders over but I was unable to get it to work. When I restarted the 98 machine the dos program gets an error "Path not found in module SCRXFR00 at address 12DA:1FF1" I changed no files on the 98 machine and suspect it is a coincidence tha tthe problem occured now. Does anyone have a course of action for this error?

Re-install QuickBasic, see if that helps. I see it here with a claim that it's a legal download: http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?14000000036569
