Question asking for your opinion
Although I don't know DOS much, from the looks of things I need to learn a programming language and I would like some input as to what would be good to start with because I am new to this and I don't know anything. You know, pre-beginner! But I would like to learn some of this neat stuff that I see on TSG.

Thanks

Hi zeke,

The vast majority of computer users don't do
programming. If you want do want to learn,
you should be familiar with files, directories, etc.
and just the way computer things work in general.
There's a lot of different programming languages,
so it also helps to have a goal in mind before you
choose one. One thing I suggest, is to search on
the net and pick a language that has a lot of code
examples.

In my opinion, DOS batch files can be a pretty
useful way to get started toward programming.
It's simple, and free...

Cheers, Mac
