Modems in NT/DOS
I have a program running on my NT machine called QICSCRIPT this is a pharmacy program dos based i might add, but when i launch it the modem will not work with it.
The modem is a 56k messgae modem usrobitics/3com.

If go to hyperterminal and atz it i get a response but as soon as i go into the dos based apllication i get nothing; The TR (termnianl ready light) comes on when i enter the talk to modem section of the program but it will not answer any commands

I NEED HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!

This DOS based aPP will probably not work in NT. Reason being that NT does not allow programs to talk directly to hardware and the DOS program want to talk directly to the hardware. I know that not what you want to hear but I believe this to be the case.
