Use the name of the desired folder on drive D
in place of "folder name". If it's a long filename,
it should be enclosed in quotes as shown.

Type:

xcopy /e /h c:\*.* "d:\folder name"

Press Enter.

(/e gets all subdirectories, /h also gets hidden
and system files)

If the directory doesn't exist, you'll be asked if
the destination is a file or directory. If this
happens, Press D.

One other thing...

You should do the copy from a DOS box in
Windows, or your long file names may not
be kept intact.
