Printing in DOS
Its been too long for me to remember this, but is there a command to set a printer to be able to have DOS applications print to it (if that make sense)?

If it's lpt1, shouldn't be a problem as long as the dos app is configured for it. If you're looking to print to shared network printers across a network (or even locally), you can use the following command:

net use lptX: \\sharedcomputer\shared printer (where X is the port number you want to use)

It depends by which kind of printer you want to drive from DOS.

The NET USE command works if the destination printer is DOS compatible.
If it's a GDI (AKA host-based, AKA Windows-Only) printer, this article might help: DOS print to USB, GDI, Windows-Only printers
