Question Power MAC: add a second hard drive
I have a Power MAC 6100/60, System 7.5.5, 40MB RAM with one SCSCI, ID=0, 250MB Apple hard drive.
I try to hook up my 4.3GB SCSI Western Digital ID=1 (pulled out from my PC Windows system) to my Power MAC as the second hard drive.
The DRIVE SETUP screen shows the WD hard drive is "unsupport hard drive".
Please tell me what I have to do to make it works.
Thanks

I can't low level format on the MAC so I did low level format on my PC. The MAC drive setup still says the drive is not supportted.

Sorry about the delay in finding a solution.

Try downloading Silverlining Lite.
This will detect your new drive and initialise/partition it for you.

Thanks John (wacpt),
With your software, I can format my second hard drive and my system recognizes it.
